Lasting Adventures will be providing transportation from near the San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and the greater Bay Area to our Summer Camp programs in Yosemite National Park. Skip the long drive and traffic while helping save the environment.

    *Please note these times are estimates. Please arrive early and be prepared to wait as needed. The shuttle will not wait for late arrivals and there will be no refunds for missing a shuttle. 
    *Pick-up times will vary, depending on SFO arrivals. If we have no SFO arrivals, our departure from near SFO will be 8am and Castro Valley will be at 8:30am. In the weeks prior to the start of camp we will send an email confirmation with confirmed pick-up times.


    Frequently Asked Questions:

    Will there be somebody to meet my child when he/she arrives at the San Francisco International Airport? Will there be somebody to help check-in my child on Friday as well?

    The shuttle driver and/or greeter will meet your child/participant in the bus area outside the Arrivals Terminal at SFO. Your child/participant should carry a cell phone with them to check in with you and with the driver when they get outside (please note, cell phones will be packed away during the hiking portion of their trip and will not be accessible). On Friday airport drop-offs, the shuttle will drop-off at the respective airline terminals and check-in areas.

    Who does my child call/contact when he/she arrives at the airport?

    Your child/participant will contact the shuttle driver when they’ve arrived at the bus area outside the Arrivals terminal. Thier telephone number will be shared with you 24-48 hours prior to the start of the trip. As needed, the number for Lasting Adventures local Yosemite office is 1-209-962-6251.

    What if the scheduled flight arrives after 10 am?

    Please contact us ASAP to see if we can make arrangements. In general, a flight arriving a few minutes after 10 am won’t cause much inconvenience, but because we have some trips hiking into the wilderness on the first day of the adventure, even minor delays may cause significant problems in getting trips on the trail.

    Where can my child who is flying to you pick up lunch?

    There will be a snack/lunch and restroom stop 1/2 way through the drive in Oakdale, California on the way to Yosemite.

    If the Summer camp program starts at 12 pm in Yosemite, wont this shuttle be late? 

    Technically yes, but its ok! We plan on the Adventure Shuttle arriving after all other participants, as this gives us time to get arrivals at 12 pm checked in and fully set up. When the Adventure Shuttle arrives, we only need to get those participants who are arriving on the Adventure Shuttle set up with their groups before setting out on the adventure. Once your child arrives to Yosemite, we will also let you know.

    How do I register for the Adventure Shuttle? 

    If you haven’t yet registered for an adventure, you can sign up for the Adventure Shuttle during registration. If you have already registered for an adventure, you can add the Adventure Shuttle by emailing us at staff@lastingadventures.org.

    What additional information do you need for me for the Adventure Shuttle?

    We will require your child’s/participant’s name, the trip they are on, their trip dates, flight information (if applicable), name and number of the driver bringing them to meet the Adventure Shuttle, and which location they will be picked up from and dropped off at. If you’ve registered for the Adventure Shuttle, please fill out the Adventure Shuttle Form found in your child’s/participant’s confirmation email.

    What if I need to cancel the Adventure Shuttle?

    We will accept cancellations up to 14-days prior to your date. After that the shuttle and rates per participant have been set and cannot be changed.
