Lasting Adventures offers base camp outdoor education programs in spectacular locations up and down the west coast. A front country camping and/or lodging program is the perfect way to introduce your students to outdoor education. Collaborate with our team of outdoor professionals to select a location and design a program to meet the needs of your group. Our frontcountry programs will include daily adventures with a fun and educational outdoor curriculum.
With a minimum of a 5-day program, and based on permits & locations, we offer hybrid front country camping and wilderness backpacking experiences. This offers an opportunity for youth to split their time engaging in front country activities like rock climbing, outdoor cooking, and team building while also getting to experience the magic of a backpacking trip in one of many locations. This is a great option for youth who have less outdoor experience to get more comfortable with the outdoors before partaking in an intro backpacking trip of 1-2 nights.
Collaborate with our team of educators to select a location and design a curriculum to meet the needs of your group. Through these activities, our outdoor education program aims to teach LNT, human and natural history, and stewardship for the land. Your students will also leave our program with leadership experience and life skills such as communication and teamwork.
