Thank you for your interest in working for Lasting Adventures!
We are a non-profit business that operates a variety of backcountry programs, utilizing Adventure Based Programming as a means of making personal connections with the environment and the world around us. We facilitate youth backpacking programs, adventure-based outdoor education programs, corporate adventure programs, and family adventures, as well as custom backpacking trips and day hikes. We work to ensure our programs are meaningful, supportive, educational and fun.
For all positions, we accept applications on a rolling basis and continue until all positions are filled. We strive to hire exceptional and professional individuals who share a passion for the outdoors and want to share that passion with others. Applicants should meet our basic requirements below, and we prefer those who have had prior similar work experiences and/or training in the past. Please note that we do not accept documents via email without a completed application. Only applications submitted through the application links provided can be accepted. (See below for more information)
As part of our mission to employ the best Outdoor Educators, Lasting Adventures offers a “WFR Repayment Program” for candidates that are unable to apply due to the financial constraints of obtaining the Wilderness First Responder certification prior to employment. This program is only available to qualified individuals that receive a job offer and consists of paycheck deductions through the summer to repay the cost of the WFR program in full. If you would like to apply but are unable to invest in the WFR before getting the job, please email us at admin@lastingadventures.org so we can be sure to take that into consideration while reviewing your application.
Lasting Adventures is committed to hiring the best applicants, regardless of overall experience, but we follow a method of Diversity Hiring. We actively seek to recruit and interview more BIPOC, women, queer, and trans people to join our incredible educational team. It is important that our participants and guests see themselves in the lives of the people we hire to guide them, so we encourage anyone with genuine interest to apply.
