Payment Options
Credit Card Bookings (preferred)
To pay with a credit card, simply use the ‘Book Now’ button on the trip page you would like to book and follow the prompts.
Our booking agent charges a credit card processing fee of 2.7% (no cap) and a booking fee of 3.0% (capped at $30). Please see the options below if you would like to avoid both of these fees. All payments made by credit card are subject to these fees, even if paid in part by check or another fee-free option.

Paying by Check (preferred)
We charge no fees for payment by check. However, returned checks are subject to a $25 charge and a trip cancellation fee if full payment is not received by the payment terms (generally 30 days before departure). If checks are mailed later than those terms, we reserve the right to require a credit card payment to be held until the check clears. Payments made by check do not incur additional processing or booking fees.
To pay by check, follow these steps:
- Email us at Staff@LastingAdventures.org to pre-book and receive a XOLA confirmation email. Alternatively, you can download, print, and fill out our Registration Form.
- Make a check to ‘Lasting Adventures, Inc.’ and include an identifying comment in the subject line, especially if your checks utilize a different name than the participant on record with us.
- For overnight trips and summer camps, you may pay a 50% deposit if the trip is more than 60 days out; final payments are due 30 days from departure.
- For day hikes, please pay the total amount when booking.
- (Optional) If you haven’t received an XOLA confirmation email yet, before you mail your check, you may scan and email your Registration Form to staff@lastingadventures.org. This will hold your space for up to 10 business days while we wait for the check to arrive.

Paying by Bank Transfer, Zelle, or PayPal
If you want to pay by Zelle or PayPal, please first email us at Staff@LastingAdventures.org to pre-book and receive an XOLA confirmation email. Then, when using Zelle or PayPal, please use the same email address “staff@lastingadventures.org” and then email us once complete to verify we have received it. If you prefer to pay by bank transfer, please email us, and we will send you our bank information.
We charge no fees for bank transfer payments. However, if your bank or an intermediary collects fees (such as currency exchange or PayPal fees withdrawn), we must receive full payment 30 days before your trip. Please plan accordingly! For Payment Schedules, please review our Terms & Conditions.
Paying by Phone
If you want to pay by credit card over the phone, call our message line at 800-513-8651. We will return your call as soon as possible (usually within 1-2 hours).
