Joshua Tree is located in southeastern California, east of San Bernardino and Los Angeles and north of Palm Springs. Transportation is mainly done by car. Limited public transport is available. Private shuttle companies can fill in the gaps. Many of our clients have preferred the convenience of a rental car over the limited public transportation options available, especially from major airports. The closest airport is in Palm Springs.
Please note that GPS units do not always provide accurate directions to or within Joshua Tree. The park covers 1,242 square miles and does not have a single address. Please be sure that your navigation is bringing you to the correct location before you start driving.
