Where will we be going?

This year, we will be hosting Archer Arrow Week at the Sequoia Meadows Christian Camp in Sequoia National Forest. The camp is a rustic property located at 7,200ft in the forest with a bunch of adventure activities including a pond, and nearby hiking trails. See here for more information and some great photos of the camp.

Sequoia Meadows has a zipline, rappelling rock, climbing wall, goliath’s ladder, archery range, pond, tomahawk toss, and great access to hiking trails in the surrounding Sequoia National Forest. In addition, you will be playing camp games and teambuilding with your group and learning through Lasting Adventures outdoor education programming. Every day will have an hour of free time with optional games and activities.

Sequoia Meadows has large bunk style cabins where the whole class will be staying. Each cabin sleeps 48 people. Your bunk bed will have a bottom sheet, but you will need to provide your own pillow and sleeping bag. The cabins are located right next to the bathrooms and shower house.

Camp food is cooked on site and gets good reviews from all groups! If you have dietary restrictions, be sure to list them on your medical form so the kitchen can prepare for you.

If your restrictions are severe, we will be in touch about alternatives. Please reach out if you have any questions about your dietary restrictions.

We will have a health supervisor on site to manage illnesses and injuries during the program. Minor injuries and illnesses will be handled on site by trained medical professionals. Emergency cases will be transported rapidly to the Sierra View Medical Center or other nearby hospital. Admin have an internet connection and backup satellite communication to contact emergency medical services if necessary.

Please provide 2x the amount needed for the duration of the trip. Medication must be given in the original prescription container with instructions, to the Archer chaperones at the start of the trip. Participants may carry emergency medications (ex: Epi-Pen, Inhalers). All medications will be collected by the Health Supervisor for the duration of the trip. Please see the Health Supervisor for your regular medications at the time you take them.

See our Youth Cabin Camping Equipment List for what to bring. Your bed will not have bedding, please bring a sleeping bag and pillow with you. If you need to borrow a backpack or sleeping bag, you can indicate so while completing the required forms above.
