Payment Options
Credit Card Bookings (preferred)
To pay with a credit card, simply use the ‘Book Now’ button on the trip page you would like to book and follow the prompts.
Our booking agent charges a credit card processing fee of 2.7% (no cap) and a booking fee of 3.0% (capped at $30). Please see the options below if you would like to avoid both of these fees. All payments made by credit card are subject to these fees, even if paid partially by check or through another fee-free option.
Paying by Check (preferred)
We charge no fees for payment by check. Returned checks are subject to a $25 charge and cancellation of the trip if full payment is not received according to the payment terms (generally 60 days before departure). If checks are mailed later than those terms, we reserve the right to require a credit card payment to be held until the check clears. Any payments made by check do not carry additional processing or booking fees.
To pay by check, follow these steps:
- Download, print, and fill out our Registration Form
- Make out a check to ‘Lasting Adventures, Inc.’
- For overnight trips and summer camps, you may pay a deposit of 50% if the trip is more than 75 days out; final payments are due 60 days from departure.
- For day hikes, please pay the total amount when booking.
- (Optional) You may scan and email your Registration Form to staff@lastingadventures.org when you mail your check. This will hold your space for up to 7 business days while we wait for the check to arrive.

As soon as your check is cleared, we will confirm your trip. That’s all there is to it!
Paying by Bank Transfer, Zelle, or PayPal
If you want to pay by bank transfer, Zelle, or Paypal, please contact us at staff@lastingadventures.org, and we will send you our bank information.
We charge no fees for payments by bank transfer. However, if your bank or an intermediary collects fees (such as currency exchange), we must receive full payment. Please plan accordingly!
Paying by Phone
If you want to pay by credit card over the phone, call our message line at 800-513-8651. We will return your call as soon as possible (usually within 1-2 hours).
Payment by this method is subject to the 2.7% (no cap) processing fee and the 3.0% booking fee ($30 cap).
